Meet over a baked treat in the daytime, or reserve a table when it turns into a restaurant and wine bar on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, 6pm\u201310pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current evening menu gives you a range of small dishes: a sausage roll with mustard \u00a36, goat\u2019s curd with beets and fennel \u00a39, French onion tart \u00a310 and stuffed peppers \u00a315. These are individual plates, rather than a set meal for that price. Agree how much to order and allow separately for drinks; the menu can change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a practical choice if you like the idea of sharing food and comparing what you picked. Ask about dietary requirements when booking and make sure you have both chosen the evening sitting if that is the plan. Daytime bakery hours and dinner hours are separate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Loft Social: give the conversation a game to work around<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.loftsocial.co.uk\/bookings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Loft Social<\/a> is a newer games bar at Castle Yard by Stockport Market Place, opened in 2025. Food and drinks are separate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ordinary opening is Thursday\u2013Sunday, with some additional event dates. Check the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loftsocial.co.uk\/events\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">events calendar<\/a> too: private hire can change access, and quizzes or dating events have their own arrangements. General admission is free. Discuss the price and dietary requirements before reserving. The restaurant publishes a 48-hour notice period for cancellations or changes, so read the booking terms if your plans are uncertain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It makes sense when you both want food to be the main event, perhaps after a shorter first meeting has gone well.
