This exhibition has separate tickets: its page lists \u00a37\u2013\u00a316 depending on ticket category and a \u00a32 advance-booking discount. Check the applicable category before booking rather than assuming that free museum admission covers it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The museum lists Tatha Bar &#038; Kitchen for food and drink, so you have an indoor option if the weather turns. Check its menu before deciding on lunch. Only choose a surprise horror film if both of you enjoy that sort of evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jute: one venue, several food budgets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jutecafebar.co.uk\/\">Jute Caf\u00e9 Bar<\/a> is inside DCA, which makes it an option for a meeting before a film or a standalone food date. Its current August 2026 menus separate breakfast, daytime food and dinner. Breakfast is served 10am\u2013noon. A scone and flat white therefore total \u00a37.65 per person before extras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a fuller evening meal, its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jutecafebar.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2026\/08\/Jute-Dinner-AUGUST-26.pdf\">dinner menu<\/a> lists tomato tart tatin at \u00a315.50, chicken Kiev at \u00a318.95 and venison steak at \u00a325.75. Dinner service is published as 5pm\u201310pm, seven days a week. Drinks, starters and desserts are additional, so agree on a food budget instead of treating a main-course price as the total bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same dinner menu lists an Espresso Martini at \u00a310.25, if you both fancy a cocktail. Coffee and tea are also available; a cinema date does not need an alcoholic drink. Check the live menu and table availability when booking, especially if your meal has to finish before a screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Broughty Ferry: make dinner the main event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.collinsonsrestaurant.com\/index.php\">Collinsons<\/a>, at 122\u2013124 Brown Street in Broughty Ferry, suits a date where you both want a longer restaurant meal. It is a separate location from the central waterfront, so plan the journey as part of the evening rather than adding it as an assumed next stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collinsonsrestaurant.com\/menu.php?cat_id=102\">autumn 2026 dinner menu<\/a> is \u00a348 for two courses or \u00a355 for three, per person. Options include meat, fish and a mushroom, leek, potato and Gruy\u00e8re pithivier. Cheese carries a \u00a33 supplement. Allow separately for wine, other drinks and any additional charges confirmed by the restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The restaurant publishes dinner from 7pm and lunch noon\u20132pm, with Sunday and Monday closures. Book directly by phone and check the current seasonal menu.
